Meds - In Advance

Quick question.

I have read on many different threads and forums that some people are doing their medical tests in advance. I understand that it could save a few weeks on processing time, but I was advised to wait for the request, and the correct forms to be sent from CIC. Is this valid advice?

So I guess the question is..............is it a good idea to do meds in advance? And if so, are there forms available online anywhere?

Also note that medicals are valid for only one year. With the increasing length of processing time for CEC applications (there's a post about the possibility of it going up to 18 months), if you do it too soon, you may have to do it again. [/size] [/size]
