Hi, guys! So I had a medical furtherance and request for sputum test which delayed my application by two months. On January 20, I did my concluding X-ray and met specialists who sent reports containing the test results back to IRCC. On February 18th, they confirmed receipt of my health assessment file. That same day or perhaps the next, my medical status changed from “We have requested a medical examination” to “Your medicals are under review”. As of now, today marks a month since this happened.
Is it normal for it to take this long? I’ve seen people get their medical decisions with three days, some within ten days and while I’m aware it differs from country to country, I’m still worried it’s taking particularly long.

I received a Procedural Fairness Letter because my medication exceeded the threshold and I was given two months to respond. I hired an immigration lawyer in Canada and we created a mitigation plan and submitted it on June 30. After two weeks I came across active health-care in my school receipts and I sent additional information to IRCC showing I had two solutions for my medication coverage. A week later being today, my medicals got updated to passed.
