Yesterday we did our medical exams-when the doctor asked me-I couldn't lie and told her I had conisation (that's a small surgical intervention) 4 years ago. She sent to additional tests-to do PAP test and get certificate from my gynecologist that there won't be any need of medical surgery in the next couple of years. If my PAP test is OK (cause it always has been in the last 4 years) will I still be asked to send the passports....or additional tests are bad news?
Please share your thoughts and experience with me.
If your additional tests reports will be normal,it won,t be any problem then.
Your waiting period for PPR will be started after medicals .
No problem at all. The surgery you had is really small and won't cause any problems, especially since it's been 4 years with clean PAP results. Even if (God protect us) it would be positive at the PAP, I believe they wouldn't fail you over it. To assume it was 'cause of hpv? That's very common, many people have it and has so many different types, most of them totally harmless. Even the "bad" ones are treatable and the cost of treatment is very small (just the surgery cost, since there is no medication needed), so it's not a medical condition which "cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada" or "is a danger to public health or safety".
Thanks Thalia.now I can sleep till Wednesday
No, you need to have relaxing sleeps far beyond Wednesday. Cause those black circles under the eyes and the wrinkles are the really hard ones to get rid off! LOL!
Don't worry and all will go fine. Good luck with the remaining steps ana

The medical examination includes blood test for communicsble viruses,HBV and HIV. It will be discovered anyways. You have to tell your DMP. Having HBV does not mean rejection in all cases according to previous postes by quarex. I am not sure what is the procedure for this.
Wish you all the best.
Hello and thanks for your answer, well more than a year ago I had my Immigration medical completed without any problems, but at that time I didn't knew about the hpv, hpv is an skin condition so it is impossible to be found in blood or urine (doctor told me) the only way to be detected is by a pap smear or a colposcopy, and in a routine pap smear is how I found that I have hpv, I went to the gynecologist a few weeks ago and everything is fine, the hpv type I have is the most common case, she says that almost 80% of population carry this virus at least once in their lives without even notice, mine is in a very low grade (disappearing) and doctor was very surprised how fast, I never needed any treatment or medication and I won't need it, the body will clear it on its own, but as I mentioned my medical was done more than a year ago, so I have to re do it again cuz has already expired, and I feel I really have to be honest and tell the doctor, In my first medical they never order a pap smear or similar test, I only had blood and urine taken, x-ray, a revision by the doctor and general questions about my medical history, I have read in a few places that this is not a condition to be rejected, but I'm still a bit anxious about it, my husband is a Canadian and all the process goes well so far, thank you and I hope you can answer back!
