Just wanted to provide the details of the medical tests so that others could get some idea about what to expect.
Place- Montreal Canada (Pierrefonds)
Total time taken - 3 hrs (for me and my wife together)
Appt was at 1:45. We reachjed at about 1:30 and handed in the forms our photos (2 each applicant) and our drivers lisence. We were given the containers and asked to provide with urine samples.
By the time we returned with the samples all the forms (2 in no) were ready. We were asked to go to a different clinic (2nd floor) for the blood test.
Had to wait a few minutes and a nurse called us in. She took our blood samples and signed and returned one of the forms. We returned to the main floor to the same place and we were handed the forms and this time asked to go to the radiology dept in the basement.
We had to wait an hr for our x rays to be taken. After the x rays were done we returned to the main area and had to wait about an hr and a half before the doctor would see us for a general check up.
Finally our turn came and the doctor talked to us a little bit to get to know our history. Then I was called in and the following tests were conducted
1. Height, weight and vision check
2. BP (130/90 slightly on the higher side...doc said that was ok)
3. Checked the chest and the back thoroughly.
4. Checked for reflexes by hitting with a small hammer (i mean it 8)) on both the knees
Same tests for my wife as well.
Thats it!!!!
We were told that the reports will be mailed out in a week. We were told to assume that everything is fine if we do not get a call from them within a week.
Total cost - 180 Canadian $ per person.
