Hello!

I’ll be applying to sponsor my American husband with an outland spousal application this July, and I wanna make sure we avoid delays by collecting our pertinent documents early...

Are vaccination records necessary when completing the medical examination? Will the panel physician ask to see them?

Thank you! :p

Send the forms and documents as stated in the spousal sponsorship checklist for your complete spousal sponsorship application package .

I don't think vaccination records necessary and when IRCC send you the request for medical exam, it will include instructions.

You could also check if there are any country specific requirements based on the residency of the person been sponsored (i.e., principal applicant).

Good Luck

When I called to the hospital to book an appointment they told me what to bring to exam. So when you book yours they will acknovledge you what do you need to bring (in my case I only needed my passport and a medical form that CIC sent to me with request).

Very good responses! Thanks so much!

My to-be husband doesn’t actually have his own vaccination records! When he receives his instructions to attend his medical exam in the future, I don’t want it to be a “surprise” that he needs these records, and then he must waste time on a wild goose chase to track them down.

Has anybody from the United States does this recently? I would really like to hear of your experience!

No, they will not request vaccination records.

Lucky for me, since my parents were anti-vaxxers and I hardly have any. I did my best to catch up as an adult, but I have no records at all.
