My fourth line on the ECAS portal has been updated yesterday ie 06 Jan 2015. Now although it says " Medical Results have been received" does that mean that I am through with my medicals positively?
If not, How and by when will i be updated whether Ive made it through to this stage?

No, I didn't have any physical meet or call before the interview. ..ive only received email communications through out until my scheduled personal interview with the VO ..
the VO had list of questions regarding my profession. .. had an interview for a good 20 mins. ..she was satisfied with my answers and confirmed that she would take my application ahead and to wait for the medical request soon and 12 days later I received my medicals request as informed
My medical was done on 8th November 2015. It appeared (24th November 2015) on ECAS that "Medical results have been received". Can anyone tell me what does it mean and about after how much time they will request for Passport/Visa?

it means you have passed the medicals. As for passport request nobody can predict that but you will definitely have your visa before medicals expired in 2016
