Hello Dear Friends:
I hope all is well?
My medical results were submitted on March-2013, and since then every time I check my application status online I see these two lines:

1-We received your application for permanent residence on December 27, 2012.

2-Medical results have been received.

I would really appreciate it if any one can tell me what does that mean?

What is next?

And is it normal for CIC to take this long once they receive the medical results?

Thank You :) :)

Its unsuaul. Send CSE !

what is a CSE? and who do I send it to?

Thank You

CSE is Case Status Enquiry i believe, I suggest to post this query to other other conversation with the name of "Medicals have been received" you will surely get plenty of answers as many Seniors are there to support

Yes this is normal. CIC sometimes starts background checks after medicals are completed and that can take many months. So there is nothing to worry about.

Regards,

Thank You all for your responses, I guess the only thing I can do and anyone else in my position is wait.
Cheers

I feel your pain. My medical results were submitted a month ago and ECAS still does not show "Medical Results received". The waiting is the worst part
Be strong

hi AN2014,
did you receive medical request or you did it upfornt,if you did received a request from cic on march and it shows on Ecas that medical results have been received,i will suggest you send a case status enquiry to your canadian visa office since its been more then 6 months, make sure you include your file number,UCI number, full name and date of birth.
good luck :)
