Dear All,
I just wanted to know that to whom medical request have sent by CHC Applicant or Consultant(Representative)? And what is the mode to send Post/email/Courier? For how much time it take by CHC Delhi after receiving the full application?
Thanks
Dear Ash,
It depends. If you have authorized your consultant/ representative to receive all communications meant to you from CHC, Medical Request and all other docs/ information will go to them.
You can check - whether you have entrusted your representative - in the CIC website (Client Application Status).

It will be sent to the applicant if here is the point of contact and does not have a consultant and if a consultant is there then all the communication will go to them.
They sent to me by post, no email!
Dear All,
I am in Delhi but my consutant in Canada. Yes I have made him representative of mine. If CHC used to send medical request to him in Canada via post then it would take 1 month time? Would they also inform him/me about it through email or other source so that we could able to come to know about it as my ecas status with both the file number (CIO/CHC) is showing that they are not having any record of my file!
CHC New delhi had sent my new file number also to my consutant through normal post and it take one month time to deliver it! I am confused? What to do?
Thanks
Ash 1967,
ND CHC will interact only with your consultant. So, if his address is in Canada, ND CHC will send all the documents to his address only. And, yes, it will delay your receiving the documents a little bit - may be by a week or so.
Dear Ash,
If you have authorized your Consultant/ Rep to collect info from CHC, the docs from CHC will go to them. But if you would like to change that status, you can do it at the CIC website (Client Application Status). But you should be careful in doing it, because, then onwards, the consultant will not take any responsibility in delay/ non-receipt of info from CHC.
It is a fact that, the communication through Consultant will delay the process, but that is the way..
