Hi Conrad my sister is planning to take CAMRT she already had assessment for Alberta and she's required to take CAMRT Exam. Do you need job offer before entering canada or your automatic immigrant?

You are replying to very old posts. This was 6 years ago. Alberta was still riding high in the high oil prices and Alberta was a very different place. Have you looked at the various immigration program? It is extremely hard to get an employer to sponsor you to get a work permit and they would have to get an LMIA. If you have to get licensed before you can do the job you aren’t even ready to work so nobody will go through the hassle of having to the LMIA or work permit process. Have you looked to see if their are jobs in Alberta? There isn’t a ton of government spending going on.

Doesn’t work that way. Employers want potential employees to be able to work in Canada and licensed since there is no guarantees your sister will get licensed and the process of LMIA and work permit is long. Most hospitals (ie the government) won’t invest $1000 in the LMIA process. Also employers want employees that can start relatively soon not 4-6 months later if both LMIA and WP are approved.
She's already eligible to apply in Alberta but she was ask to take the exam in CAMRT hope that she will pass. Hopefully after she require all the requirements there will be changes to the work permit and Lmia since Radtech is very rare to canada

Yes she isn’t eligible to work. Really no point in applying until she passes CAMRT. Employers won’t even consider trying to go through the LMIA and work permit process unless they know a candidate can work in Canada. Why spend $1000 and 6 months if you don’t know if the candidate will pass the CAMRT.
