Medical (positive VDRL test)

Hello Everyone,
Iam posting on the behalf of my Sister in law.she applied under nanny category in 2020. Recently she has submitted the medical. Her VDRL test is positive. So IrCC wants her to do go through more specific tests for syphilis those test ate coming non reactive or negative. We again submitted the tests and again IRCC asking for further tests. We are very worried what we should do since we were waiting for her from so long to come to Canada. Please suggest is there anything we can do on our behalf ..as her doctor said they she do not have the disease and she explain in the letter to which she submitted to IRCC but still they are asking for further evaluation please please help ...Thank you so much

She should do the further tests as soon as possible. IRCC won't move the application forward without the further tests.

Again VdRL is reactive
TrPA non reactive
TPHA non reactive...

I can't guide you.

You said that IRCC is asking for further evaluations. You need to get these further evaluations done according to their instructions.

Could have been a false positive the first time.

Yes doctor explained that to IRCC but still they want additional test

They just want to rule out that it wasn’t a true positive.

I understand but more specific test for syphilis were negative only VDRL was positive both times. (((

I don’t make the rules so not sure what IRCC will need.
