My chest X-ray has abnormalities- pleural thickening with blunting of costophtenic angle. The panel physician said no issues and will not affect immigration. He said looks like an old infection.

Hi ,
I have the same condition. In my x-ray it says CP angle is blunt.
In the result there are points like evidence of tuberculosis? Which has been given as yes. However final remark"This x-ray is suspicious of active TB "says NO.
I am very confused .Did CT and started with sputum test in advance before emb

My report submitted to IRCC on 2nd Dec so i think it is very early . i have not received any communication. But i have already completed SPUTUM and now need to wait for 8 week and exactly after 3 month i need to do x-ray again if IRCC ask with further test. Keeping everything complete for quick processing.
So how long it takes to get VISA after you submit additional x-ray and SPUTUM report?(Mine is Work VISA intra company transfer)
Hi Goldenita, unfortunately my husband is in the same situation. We submitted our application last week and the doctor just let us know that his left lung has blunting of costophtenic angle. They've referred him to a specialist. I'm assuming CIC only asked you for Xrays and a CT scan? Did it take very long for you to clear your medical exam after you sent it?
Hi there,
I have not got any further medical request .but as per panel physician request I did CT scan and sputum results were negative but got visa and came here before report results.
It depends on consulate and medical officer I assume
