I just had my medical done in Calgary and for folks out there that need a recommendation, I would recommend going to Dr Michelle Moss. It's quick, she is very nice and kind too. The price tag is 400 bucks (with blood test and X-rays included), but she is absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended if you don't know which clinic to go to.
But worth it IMO. Others say they pay less for 5 minutes of doctor time and I spent a full hour with her. If you are limited budget wise then of course I recommend to go for the cheapest.
My medical is also peace of mind for my health on top of the immigration process so I wanted a doctor that cared.

I went to medical with Dr Sabetai recently. Her office wasn't super helpful but was quite OK. In the end I was clear on everything and had no further questions. Prices are $225 + $40 lab test + $78.75 Xray test. She mentioned it takes her office one week to upload results to CIC.
As for the lab test and Xray test, they can be done in downtown and appointments may be booked before seeing Dr Sabetai, in her office she will give requisition forms which enables you to attend the pre-scheduled appointment. Every medical can be done within a day or two.
Dr Sabetai does not do upfront medical for old 2014 CEC.
We called Dr. Moss and had to leave a voice mail with the info and they said they will call back. Not sure how long they'll take for that. And not sure if the appointments will be for to far from now.
We're also considering Dr. Abolarin, because is close to our home. Reviews are so so for this doctor, specially the receptionist seem are not that good. But at least they have appointments available even for tomorrow. And the labs and x-rays are nearby too.
My husband doesn't want to go to Dr. Sabetai, because of the tone in the website comes across as very rude, lol
