I have applied for PR April 21, 2010, unfortunately my open permit did not come until after 18 months (got it October 2011). 
My husband had his medical last sept. 5, 2012 and was submitted by the clinic to the embassy in Manila Sept. 12. I would like to know how long will it take for the embassy to send another update? This waiting game is taking a toll on me already. Is there anyone out there who can enlighten me or give me heads up on what to expect, timeframe wise. thanks! I don't believe what I read on the cic website they say its 23 months processing but the medical came after 30 since I applied. Thanks in advance.
