Hi
My friend in jamaica was hired by a farm on the Low Skilled level. He has always resided in Jamaica and from what i can gather the work and his country is not on the for medical examination requirement. should he still go get a medical exam just to be sure? He has his wedding ceritificate, does he also need certificate for his children (both wife and children are NOT coming with him)
thanks for the information, so far it looks like he will apply for the work permit at the canadian embassy in Kingston.

They are required for workers who will be working in Canada on health serivices and in the agricultural sectors. Since your friend will be working on a farm i think He will be needing a medical examination. Seniors may confirm this please.
i got more info from another forum and they told me with his job and his country of residence, he doesn't need the medical exam, but since he will stay longer than 6 months, that makes the medical exam necessary based on the fact that the job is for 12 months.
