Medical exams for Express Entry
You must have a medical exam from a panel physician before you apply for permanent residence. Your family members must also have one, even if they aren’t coming with you.
Family members An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application to IRCC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.
Thank you so much. This is helpful. I hope even if I mention my parents as my family members in my application - as the application asks so - but I don't need to get their medical and PCC done considering the family definition mentioned by you.
Correct, you don't need medical or PCC for your parents. Basically you need to provide it for everyone you can directly sponsor after becoming a PR yourself. If anyone of them is inadmissible, then you will have your application refused.
