I accidentally admitted to the doctor in my medical exam at st lukes when he asked me if i tried marijuana. I said yes back when i was in hichschool. Will it affect my application? Im worried

i dont think so. what matters is your current medical condition.

in medical examination they care about 3 things

1- if your disease or health condition will pose danger to other Canadians like HIV / STD

2- or your medical condition will pose heavy load on their health care system ( super expensive treatments )

3- or you have some strong mental conditions that might affect your behavior overall ( seen people get inadmissible because of autism ).

otherwise you hare good to go . no need to worry

It won't, same case happened to me. I had to take a psychiatric exam for admitting it, but after that it was all good. My medical did take very long to approve though but I think it's because of backlog from SDS.
