Hello, I already have an open work permit but never done a medical exam. I now want to work with kids.

After how long can I start working? Do I need to wait for a new visa or I can start once they received it?
And how long do they take to send in a new visa?

You need to wait until IRCC processes the medical and updates your work permit to remove the health condition.
