I have scheduled a medical exam next week for myself and my wife anticipating I would get an ITA this week however; I just read that now, we cannot have medical exams upfront..
CIC mentions that now, we need to wait for intimation from CIC to have medicals even after getting ITA.. Is it true?? Am I missing something here?? Should I keep that appointment or cancel it??
Does that mean both me and my wife can go for an upfront medical exam as scheduled next week??
If I am understanding it correctly then the upfront medical is not permitted when a Canada PR holder/ citizen is sponsoring the spouse.. Am I correct??
I hope I got it right.. Please confirm.. Thanks!!!

when u do ur e-APR u need to attach medical report/doc. So it has to be upfront. meaning pre or post ITA medical is upfront medical. Thats what I understand when I did mine. Thats my understanding.
