Does anyone know how much the medical exam for PR application will cost in Alberta, and if any of the cost will be covered by the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan?
I'm not sure about the insurance question, but I believe it's up to each medical exam provider to decide what they charge. If you want to know how much it will be, you can find a panel physician using the locator on the CIC site and then call their office and ask what fee they charge. Some providers list the fee on their website. For me, the exam was $200 and the chest xray was another $30.

Hi!
As of now, I am under implied status since our application is still "in process". I was previously on a student permit but now it has expired. Does anybody know if a medical exam would cost more without an Alberta healthcare card? or would it be about the same cost for everybody in Alberta regardless of status? I've read that it would be about $200+ depending on the panel physician.
