Hey all,
I am going to join masters program in Canada. I have my medicals on 26th June. My concern is that I have pre-hypertension. But, as soon as I see a doctor my blood pressure shoots up. This is something I cannot control. I wonder whether I can take bp medicine on test day? Or it will be detected in tests like urine test etc. and hence may result in rejection?

you should take the medicine and tell the doctor about it... because they get your initials on a paper stating whether you have any medical condition? so i would suggest you to take a medicine and give your medical. and tell about this to the officer. it does not seem to be a big problem which may result in the visa refusal. they basically look for those persons who have tb or aids or std's ........ so do not withold any information ok.... and best of luck

More comments needed. Because after I inform doctor about my condition, he can ask me to get some extra tests done like ecg. Eventually, this may lead to visa delay. Experts, kenamen, qorax your help would be appreciated in this regard.
