Dear all
Me (portuguese citizen) and my partner (canadian citizen/Quebec) intend to marry and then apply for spousal sponsorship.
I intend to stay as visitor and apply to visitor extension while the application is being processed.
I have a 11 year old son, from a previous relation, which has to undergo the medical exam (he will stay in Portugal).
As far as I know, CIC will ask for his exam while the sponsorship application is being processed.
Question 1: Can I take him for the medical exam in advance (while I'm still in Portugal) and have it available when CIC asks for it later?
Question 2: A copy of his ID card is also required. Is a scan or photocopy with the two sides of the card in the same page OK?
Thank you very much
