Hi all! sorry if this question has been answered already, but I couldn't find anything on it using the search bar.
So I'm planning to apply for US outland PR by spouse (wife is Canadian). I got my medical in July 2015, but we've been delayed in applying for other reasons. Now that I'm about ready to apply, the exam is only good for another 4 months or so. Is that OK? Obviously the process will take longer than 4 months -- so do I need a newer medical exam, or will they accept the exam from 07/2015 so long as I apply before the exam expires?
On a related question: My FBI background check is about 3 months old -- I understand that they're good for 6 months now, can someone confirm? Is it also OK to send the FBI check I've got now, even though it'll expire during the waiting time?

They may ask you to do another medical later if it expires before they are ready to issue the COPR. They do have the option of extending it, so that is also a possibility.
I am in the same situation.
So there are more chances of them asking for a new medicals than rejecting my application on the basis of expiring medicals correct?
