I got request in Aug to submit my personal history for 10 years, we were not able to submit medical for 6 months as we were expecting new family member

I am wondering why CIC would ask for that? is that common?

Lot of ppl in the forum that I know (including me - Oct 2013 applicant) is in the same situation
Some even got PPR even though their status is still "In Process".

My advice?
status update on Ecas is unreliable. Go get GCMS if you guys want to know what happen to your application.
