My age is 43 and i am planning for Canadian PR through Saskatchewan or any other province. However the main issue or query is that i had undergone angioplasty more than 2.5 years back and there were couple of blockage in my secondary veins , which was causing breathing trouble but after the procedure i am perfectly fine and my heart health was also good that time and now also. So far i have n't faced any issue because of angioplasty.
So my concern is that, whether my profile will be rejected on this medical ground or not. Based on your expert feedback, i need to take a call to realy put in money and effort for Canada PR.
There are 3 possible reasons for medical inadmissibility:
1. Danger to public health
2. Danger to public safety
3. Excessive demand on health or social services
Reasons 1 and 2 would not be an issue for you.
As far as Reason 3 is concerned, an "excessive demand" refers to how much it would cost Canadian Health Insurance to treat the condition of the candidate. In 2019, the treshhold was set at 102,585 CAD over 5 years (or 20,517 CAD per year).
So, if you only need to go to your cardiologist for a yearly check up, Reason 3 should not be an issue neither.
