Medical before ITA as a CEC inland applicant, rejected?

Hi all:
So instead of posting a new topic I found this link:

It seems like for CEC Inland applicants Pre-ITA medical is feasible if you are fairly certain to receive an ITA in the coming draw. However, I called the assigned clinic on CIC website and the receptionist told me they can only do the medical after I receive the ITA. In that case, what does upfront medical mean? When can I go to the medical, directly after ITA or I have to wait until CIC send me the medical request after ITA?

I don't know the rule but I did my medcial after the ITA.

The upfront medical just means you submit it part of your PR applciation. In some streams I guess CIC would request a medical. I applied under CEC stream and upfront medcial was a requirmenet.

Thx for the info, so for CEC you can do the medical as soon as you receive the ITA?

Yes, and you must fsubmit it along with rest of your application
