Hi,
I am preparing my docs for inland spousal sponsorship. I have couple of questions if you can help me. Do I need to send all medical examination and police certificate from every country I live with all forms as it says medical report and police certificate get expire after 12 months and right now they are taking almost 12 months to process application.
I am bit confuse if I send my doc now do I need to do again after 12 month or not.
If you are in Canada...find a doctor on the designated list in Canada to have that medical done. Do the medical just before you are about to mail your application in.
Police Certificate ... You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.
The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.
-When you go to do the medical, make sure you bring the 4 passport photo's and after it's complete the doc will give you a receipt. This is what you attach to your application. My husbands medical expired during the process but he was not asked to redo his, it's up to the officer.
-When you go to get your criminal check, as them to mail it directly to Vegreville as it could take a bit of time.
Ask for an upfront medical . When booking the appointment ask them if they require photo's . With the new processing some will not require any , just want to see I.D. E.G Passport .
The panel physician will send the info to a case center and the cic will request them . However when the Dr gives you the receipt for the medical ,attach that to your information.
Thanks to all of you. Really highly appreciated... somebody misguided my hubby and said you can send medical and police certificate later as process taking too long right now so u have to do medical and police check again.

Since OP is submitting the application inland, submitting the police certificates and medical report with the application is highly recommended. However inland does give an option for applicants to submit applications without police/medical reports. They can wait until CIC asked for it, usually at the AIP stage. This approach will likely delay the PR process but won't get refused on account of missing police/medical report. Outland applicants must submit police certificates with medical report with their applications without exceptions.
