I m living in US with my husband with 1 kid, husband on H1B visa and I am on dependant visa. My question is my (paternal) aunty from Mississauga (Canada) wants to sponser me with family as I m 30+ years old and married so may I eligible for sponser?
My husband applied for Alberta nomination 2 months ago but got refused now my aunt wants to sponser my family, she was sponsered by her daughter 10 years ago now she has Canadian passport.
Your aunt can not sponsor you under the federal system and ON PNP had no family stream last time I checked so you are out of luck. Your immigration options: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp
Skilled workers and professionals if you or your husband can pass 67 points (you get bonus points for aunt) and has at least 1 year experience in the last 10 years in one of the 38 chosen professions OR have a job offer (AEO)
Quebec selected skilled workers if you pass their self assessment
PNP if you have a job offer from that province (AEO)
You could also try for a temporary work permit and immigration later. Maybe the aunt can through her connections in Canada help you arrange a job offer.
