A maximum of 20,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications, without an offer of arranged employment, will be considered for processing each year.
Within this limit, a maximum of 1,000 Federal Skilled Worker applications per National Occupation Classification (NOC) will be considered for processing each year.
Any idea of when does their FY close? Are they going to consider applicants after June26th under the new FY? or would you suggest new applicants to apply beginning next year to be considered in the count for next years limit? Please suggest
hi to everybody.
this new rule will goin to stay for one year and anyone applied on or after 26 july 2010 comes under this new axed rule of the intake of fsw's. as we al know that they r taking max of 1000 applicants from one catagory, and there are mamy many tousands of applicants in the pool. so i think its virtually impossible now to get an entry in federal skilled worker visa scheme . since only 1000 intake for one catagory and 17 days already gone, so there is very strong probabilty that the seats r full. so if still one wants to apply (one can always try ), then make sure that the case is presented as strong as possible and that too very quickly. rest god will decide. all the best.
But last 17 days have not made much impact as they have asked number of documents which might not be avalable in hand with 20% (i guess so) of the applicants. So do not loose hope and get into the train
