Hi All,
Does CIC accept Master Degree's Provisional Certificate?
As the university takes around 1 year to issue the final certificate, anybody with experience on it? The provisional one shows that the program is finished and it is an official document that is valid until the moment the final one is issued.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

It's not CIC but WES. CIC only accepts ECA report issued by WES.
And documents required by WES (for carrying out an evaluation) clearly specifies:
1. Final or
Provisional Degree Certificate
2. Annual Statement of Marks / Academic Transcript
Check it
here.

Thanks, and yes sorry, i mean if WES accepts.
I saw this, but when i introduce my country (Spain), they do not specify. It shows:
1.Degree Certificate
2.Academic Transcript
That's why i am confuse. Which country shows that?
Thank you!

I was in the same position, i was suggested to wait and get my final degree certificate. What i did is - I've requested my university to issue a final certificate as soon as exam grades were out.

Well in Spain this is not a university decision, it is the time the government spend to issue the final certificate, and by average is 1 year after apply for the certificate (you only can apply for it after finish the degree), i will finish it soon, but can't wait 1 year + time to do the ECA to entry the pool, well i can, but i will lose some points and take the IELTS one more time (will be expired).

Now I see your point, I'm sorry about assuming that you're from India.
Well you can
write to WES, or
call them to get clarity.

My wife was in the same spot as you.
WES accepts provisional certificates as long as they are valid
Some universities issue provisional certificates with one years validity, some with 6 months..
Check the validity date before applying

My provisional one will be issued in a couple of months, and will be valid for a year.
Thanks!
That's the reply i received from WES today:
It will be fine if your transcript indicates that you have fulfilled the Master's degree requirements.
Then should be ok! thanks for your comments!
