Hi,
Is a masters degree from UK is equivalent to masters in Quebec? In the UK a masters degree is usually obtained after 1 year of study whereas the duration in the Quebec is normally 2 years.
Please explain if someone has knowledge about it.
Thanks.
Not all Master's degree in Quebec is 2 years. There are one year master's degree too.
This does answer my question, however I referred to
the online evaluation tool from midi wherein it
is mentioned I.e 2 years.

Please share the link for the same....online evaluation tool from midi

Please note that this tool is for immigration
evaluation not an educational evaluation.

I think a master's is a master's regardless of the time spent for the degree to be awarded. I completed my bachelor's in 3 years instead of 4 and my ECA states that it is equivalent to a Canadian 4 year bachelor's.
I think that as long as your diploma states that it is a master's degree, you should be fine, but the only way to be absolutely sure is to get an ECA report.
Hope this helps & good luck!
