The question, "Prior to your spousal/common-law/conjugal partner relationship, was your sponsor or any of your sponsor's family members related to you or any member of your family?"
if the sponsor's father is my fathers uncle, so technically, the sponsor is like my second cousin, can that delay the process of the application or can being related to the sponsor cause our application to be refused? What is the ruling regarding marrying someone related to you?
Also, the second question asks:
"Do you have family members or other relatives living in Canada?"
So in this case, does that mean I would list my sponsors father as a relative?

In some countries that happens often, and some other no. But there is nothing wrong with that...
Canada Immigration will accept it if it is common practice in the country of the applicant...
You can make a note, and explain your relation to your sponsor father.
I don't think that it will slow your application,
if every thing else is OK and you have enough documents to prove your relation.
so would I put YES to my sponsor or any of my sponsors family members related to me or NO...since my sponsor isn't an immediate family memeber, she is cousins with my father.
Usually with CIC documents, when they say "family", they refer to the immediate spouse and children. But in this case, i think you should cover your bases and say yes to both, as mentioned

It doesn't hurt ur case at all.... if n e thing it helps ur case cuz u can establish that u knew the sponsor prior to ur marriage.... I would suggest u also attach old pics with ur sponsor from ur childhood at family get-togethers or wutever if u can find any....
Yes, u could include ur sponsor's father as a relative for that question
