Married after COPR

Hello Everyone,

In Jan, I got COPR, fortunately or unfortunately I got married in Feb, informed IRCC regarding my marital change.

They requested me to submit wife’s passport and marriage certificate.

I have submitted the same on March3rd.

it’s been more than 2months from now, but no response from them.

any idea how much more time they will take to verify or process wife’s profile.

note: I have not returned my COPR and visa back to commissioner office

4-6 months or longer.

I assume you have already submitted all of the other paperwork to add your spouse to your application, including PCC, completing the medical, etc?

Hi scylla,

they requested only wife’s passport and marriage certificate, so I sent only those two documents on 2nd of March, but still no response from them for Medicals, PCC etc..

note: they have asked to return COPR and passport to cancel visa, but still I dint send to commission office. Will this causing delay?
