Marriage status change while waiting for PR card

Hello All,

I got AOR on may 12 2018 and now waiting for passport request which I think I will get it in couple of months. Normally it takes around 1 month to get a stamp on passport. I am planning to go India and get married in December. If I don't get PR card is it ok to change the marriage status based on passport immigration stamp or I will have to wait for my PR card and then only I can change the status.

It doesn't matter when you get the PR card. It matters when you decide to land. If you get married before you land, you'll need to inform IRCC

After Marriage get a marriage certificate and inform CIC. There are certain cases when your spouse will also get Visa stamped.

so lets say I got passport and I land in Canada and then I go India again to get married before getting PR card then I don't have to inform CIC right? but since I don't have PR card I will need transit visa document or I have to come from USA by road in private vehicle.
