Express entry/provincial nominee/in land.
I received "Ready for visa" email on Feb 26, 2016. So I have until March 26, 2016 for my passport to be received by CIC office. Status was single when I submit my application.
Now I am planning to get married on March 8, 2016 with my boyfriend (foreign citizen with permanent residence status in Canada) in Vancouver. So should I wait till March 8, get marriage license/certificate indicating I am married, email the copy to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, and then wait for their reply before mailing passport out?
I am worried that the reply from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca would be too long (20 working days) and I would miss March 26 2016 deadline for passport to be received by CIC...
Or should I mail the passport first, get married on March 8, then inform CIC of my marriage status change......
Any suggestion on what to do in this kind of situation?
