I just got my permanent residency last august 2, 2015 and me and my fiance got married august 7, 2015. His work permit will expire on October 31, 2015 so I'm planning to submit a spousal sponsorship for him and enxtension of work permit at the same time. I was not able to include him in my permanent residency application because we didnt meet the requirements for common law and not married yet. We just decided to get married after my permanent residency approval.
Can somebody please help me how to apply inland spousal sponsorship and work permit extension at the same time? what are the requirements that we need? any tips or advise please.
How did you obtain your PR? Were you sponsored by anyone?
If you are eligible to sponsor him, you should follow these instructions:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
Then submit the Open Work Permit (OWP) application (form IMM 5710), along with the fee of $255 (NOT $155) with the Inland application. This will give your husband `Implied Status', throughout the entire process.
I applied to Express Entry last March 2015 and got my approval this August 2015. I was not able to include him in my Express Entry application because we didnt meet the common law requirements and we are not married that time. We just got married this August 7, 2015 after I got my PR approval.

Correct. My son ( but not his biological son ) and I landed last august 2, 2015 then me and my husband got married august 7, 2015. Is there any supporting documents that we need to submit to surely approve our application? like proofs ( joint accounts, conjugal properties? ) do we need to have a big amount of money or show money? Thank you
On the date that you landed as a PR, would you have qualified as common-law, even if you actually got married a few days later? This is very important....

As mentioned above, can you confirm the specific day you first started living together? Hopefully it was on some date after Aug 2, 2014... because if you started living together even a day before that you may be in big trouble for sponsoring him.
We met each other at work here in Canada 2 years ago, im a single mom that time. We started dating just this year and become formally boyfriends february 2015. He proposed to me month of May but we never live together that's why we are not qualified as common law. And then we got married this august ang live together with my son.
My personal experience, was you don't NEED to meet a certain monetary amount...however if the officer feels that neither of you make a living wage they can request to see your bank statements and pay stubs.
I received a letter stating I was in jeopardy of my application being denied unless I showed proof I would not need government assistance once I come to Canada.
