Asalam Alaikum
I am at the post-AOR stage, I live here in Pakistan and my spouse is in Australia. He is on a student visa there. I am about to get nikafied by the end of this month and want to include my spouse in my application. Due to the travel restriction of CORONA, he is unable to travel back to Pakistan. We are planning to do all the religious rituals online. A nikkah ceremony here in Pakistan and a ceremony there in Australia.(Just to make it more clear that his half immediate family live here and half immediate in Australia so in Australia, a small event will also take place)I have all the proof which can show how the family contact, how we both contacts with each other uring the whole time, online, video calls, the pictures of the time when his parents visit my home and my parents visit his home, tcss gift slips , emails etc

The issue is I have recently come across that Canada don't accept online marriage as both parties are not physically present at the time of marriage. In this situation what is best for me.(Delaying nikah and waiting Australia to open the border would be the last option as not sure when Australia is going to ease restriction).

My spouse is expecting his Australian PR in may June 2021 and as marriages on skype is acceptable in Australia so he wants to include me in his application so that we both can have the Australian PR at the same time and I can join him in Australia when I get my Australian PR. To save my whole journey of Canadian PR and all my effort, at that time if I get married in may June, can I at least inform IRCC that I got married online and my spouse is nonaccompanying. What are the pros and cons of this?

And the second question is what if I inform IRCC that marriage is done online and add my spouse and after assessment, they will refuse the application of my spouse, will they also create an issue in giving PR to only me? or God forbid case refusal
Need expert opinion Thanks
