Hello to all memebers,

I would like to have your advice with regard to our situation me and my fiancee.

We decided to start the procedures in order to migrate to Canada, and before that we planned to get married; however, we had many questions before starting since it is a very important decision that needs to be carefully studied.

After making a contact with some advisors, we were told that it would be preferable to apply me alone since I have the needed criteria, but my future wife doesn’t have any work experience. So, in case if we get married and then we submit together, we will have a lower score which means that we will less likely to be selected to present an application.

For that concern, we wanted to be helped. However, before getting started we would like to ask you our critical question: In case if I apply and receive an invitation to submit for the permanent residence, after providing all the needed documents in the 60 first days. Will I be able to marry my fiancee and then edit my marital status in my profile during the 6 mouths needed to process and assess my application in order to give the opportunity for having the permanent residence for my fiancee as well?
Is it possible to do so or we need to apply with a new profile ?

Please, we would like to be advised. And which solution do you advise ?
Should I proceed as mentioned above or should we get married first and then starting our Express entry application?

Thank you for you help in advance !

You can marry after submitting your PR app and add your spouse.

So if I understood your reply. It means that I would be able to add my future spouse after submitting my Electronic Application for Permanent Residence. In the following 6 months which will be needed to process my application it is possible to get married and then adding her without any problem?

of course, I know that I will need to provide the marriage document and her Medical, Language test and diploma equivalence.

Just please, I'm new in this, can you give me more detail

and I'm really really thankful for you response !
