I am going to apply for asylum in Canada through US-Canada Border. I used to smoke hashish back in my country. I've heard they take blood test/ urine test for drugs like THC,etc
If my test for THC (Hashish, Marijuana) comes positive, will they allow me to seek asylum or send me back.

You're good to claim asylum at the border in that case. Without family in Canada, you would be refused due to the safe third country agreement. However having family in Canada means you fall under an exception to this rule.

Before you get too excited, cannabis is illegal at the federal level in the USA, and they may refuse to allow you to enter the USA if you are not already there.

Remember US Federal authorities (due too insane laws) must treat Cannabis on par with heroin. If you are asked by a US agent as to whether you have EVER consumed a Cannabis product you may be banned for life if you answer in the affirmative.
Also getting to Canada doesn’t guarantee asylum. There are a large number of refusals so make sure this is the right thing for you. How long have you been in the US?
