I am creating this thread to connect all March 2017 - April 2017 applicants.

As, I have seen on different post from March, April applicants that they are inquiring any update from fellows. This will be a good thread to connect.

As, I am April 2017, my time line is:

Applied: April 2017
Scd A & PCC: May 2017
OWP: May 2017
Medical Request & Passed: November 2017

Current Status: Background in process

Hi, I am not from March or April 2017, but from January 2017 (even worse). My partner was in queue for an interview for 3 months and just today, he got a letter from the Buenos Aires Visa office (Canadian embassy in Buenos Aires) to come for an interview on March 19. Our file was transferred from Mexico City to BA at the end of January, so it was faster than I had anticipated. We will be at 13 months processing as of the 25th. Last we saw from our GCMS notes in December after we learned we were in the interview queue, they had not completed our criminality review which was started on February 22 last year and our security review not started (I'm sure they have done something as all 3 sets of notes we ordered had blank pages with security codes on it). The interview letter asked my partner to bring a new copy of his PCC from his country as well as a new driving record, both of which were issued more than a year ago as this process has taken so long. IF they approve his app after the interview, hopefully they won't still have to finish doing his background (security check), but realistically speaking, probably another few more months after the interview to get everything done. Hopefully for the rest of you, you won't have to wait as long as this as I guess we are in the unlucky 20% group!

I am march 2017 application at new Delhi visa office.now i am so frustrate and disappointed.can i apply for visitor visa?? What is the success rate? Because i am in 12 month .
