Mandatory military service as foreign work experience

Hi,

I did mandatory military service in Korea and I was wondering if it counts towards the foreign experience under Skill transferability factors.

I have the same issue! I was working as an engineer during my mandatory military service for 1 year. Can I include this year as a foreign work experience if I got an experience letter from the military? any thoughts?

I did 3 years and obviously included it in my history..but it did absolutely nothing to boost immigration or points.

There is a NOC, but only if you are already Canadian:

I did not assign anything for my service. I applied years ago under the old system, NOC 0631.

Hello guys, yes you can use military service as foreign work experience , but only if you were a commissioned officer " second lieutenant, first lieutenant and more "
