Hi. I applied for Permanent Residence in June, passed my biometrics. Am I allowed to register my company and work as a contractor maintaining my pr application?
An oil& gas company gave me an offer, but they hire contractors only. Can I register my company while waiting for permanent residence to work for them or not? Currently I work as an employee for company through which I applied for nomination.
IRCC website doesn’t have description or explanation, and I’m not sure how they will react for me being a business owner and not employee.

It doesn’t depend, I can change workplaces. I applied for nomination through AOS program, after I applied for pr. But there’s no explanation if I can become contractor after I got nominated or not. Do I need to keep my condition for nomination and not be contractor till I’ll get pr or can I register my company and do contacting?

If your PR nomination is dependent on working for the employer or having a job offer from this employer no you can’t become self-employed. In general under a work permit you are typically only allowed to work for others not yourself.
