I have a question regarding maintained status for two separate visa. My current situation is that I have applied for LMIA-T13 exempt visa over three months ago and have since been on maintained status following a 2-year IEC.
I was expecting to have the LMIA-Exempt visa by now it by and need to leave the country (planning to return within an month) over the next couple of months.
I also have applied for PR last June via PNP nomination (Non-Express) in BC and have submitted biometrics last month after receiving an AOR.
Obviously leaving the country without PR/LMIA visa I will lose my maintained status and be unable to work upon my return, however is it possible on my return to apply for a BOWP and work on maintained status for this visa ?
I haven’t found much information on this.
TIA for any help.

Does your nomination have an employer restriction?

You wouldn’t qualify for a BOWP on your return if you are a visitor.
