Maintained status while PR is in process

I am on PGWP and spouse on SOWP in Canada. I applied for EE under PNP stream recently with my spouse accompanied. Our EE application is in process but the work permits are expiring soon.
I want to confirm if we are considered on maintained/implied status while the PR is in process ?

With PR in process alone, I don't think so. You'll have to apply for BOWP for yourself.

No, you don't have implied/maintained status.

Sorry, I'll hijack this thread real quick.

My PR application is in progress (currently in FD) and my PGWP expired 4 days ago. However, I should be in Maintained status since I applied to my BOWP 3 months ago (also still in progress)

My question is: Should I do something? Maybe send a web form for my PR application, showing them my WP-EXT letter that I got when I applied to my BOWP? Or are they aware that I am in maintained status (I am guessing the people processing my PR application, can also see that I applied to BOWP and therefore, am in maintained status)
