Same with me.. mailing address got updated. I guess its a maintenance issue as almost everyone got their mailing address got updated. But, again its a good sign, as a lot of applicants who got there mailing address on, received PPR in couple of days. Fingers crossed.

My address is listed as well on June 7th. Some ppl are saying it's a good sign, which means you will get passport request within a few weeks. However, some ppl are saying it's just a technical update.
So, the only evidence of proving it's not a technical update is having those who don't see their mailing addresses on ecas reply this post. Because if it's a technical thing, every applicant with applicant# should have mailing address on the ecas.
check with one of my friends who just applied for CEC a few months ago. She hasn't got ME request yet. Her mailing address is on ecas a few days ago. So, I'm pretty sure that it's just a technical upgrade on ecas. It's not a sign of application process.
I never saw the mailing address on my ecas page until recently. What is different in my case is that my passport has already been submitted to them on Feb 25.I thought it was a positive change in my application process but after reading these discussions it looks more like a technical glitch.

don't be discouraged. first, where did u submit ur application?
those ppl are applying in north america, most of them (including me ;D) submitted their files to buffalo, and passport request is really the last step in the process.
i know some visa offices in asia request passport right after medical exams (so ppr is not the final step for them), and then take a while to check medical results etc. then give u the visa.
so, be sure u r on the right page, this is only for buffalo. although i think the mailing address appearing thing is likely a sign that cic want to get everything regulated, it doesn't necessarily mean a step ahead in the application process.
however, although not likely, if it was buffalo that requested u to submit ur passport, u should definitely contact them, cuz buffalo usually took one more or so to issue ur pr visa and return it to u, if longer than that, ur passport might get lost during delivery.
