After getting marrried my wife's last name is changed and she took my last name. She got a new passport from her country and the passport shows only her new lastname. However she still has her maiden name on her PR Card and we can't change her PR card outside of Canada.
We'll be travelling back to Canada soon, do you think that this name change create problems for her entry? We have her old and new passports and our marriage certificate showing her maiden and married lastnames. Will that be enough for us to prove her name change or do we need to submit other documents?
We added the family name to our daughters name...... How to get it changed on th
Hi,
Im hoping to get some answers regarding our daughters family name.
We landed in toronto last year, at that time our daughter s family name was not added to the landing documents. However we got all our identification cards made without her family name. But we were informed to add her family name and then get that changed on the landing documents first and accordingly on all the ID cards once the family name is added.
Now we have added her family name to her new passport, the problem is that the form that I downloaded says that this amendment will only take place if the error was made by the immigration office. This addition or error you may call was not the immigration office's fault. The family name was not added to her old passport. Now that we have her new passport with the family name added to it, what will be the procedure to get it changed on the landing papers first and which form number will I be attaching along my documents.
I ll be grateful if someone can guide me about the exact form number.
