Hello,
I lost my original record of landing (IMM). My citizenship
Test is next week.
Can I still take the exam even without the original copy..?
Send and case specific inquiry to IRCC website. Just for a record.

Apply for verification of status document asap before the test/interview and keep the receipt and copies of the documents that you send to cic. Take these documents to the test/interview and if required, you can show it to the cic officer. Also take the copy of the landing document to the test/interview
Here is the link:

Why would they need it?... I landed in 2012 and it is so hard to even read it.

Indeed. I just read the citizenship application checklist. It is the first requirement... Glad I have the original and the copy but it is not easy to read.
