Lost PR card

Hi,

I am a Canadian PR card holder. I came to USA for a week and unfortunately I have lost my PR card.

I am supposed to fly back to Toronto in a couple of days. I have a scanned copy of my PR card with me.

Has anyone been in this situation? Looking for any help possible.

Your only possible options are:
1. Apply for PR Travel document. The offices are only in LA, New York and I think Washington. If you aren't in one of these cities, you will need to mail your passport + PR TD app, and wait for it to be mailed back. I'd budget at least 2 weeks for the whole process.

2. Fly to city close to land border, and cross into Canada in car or walking.

These are your ONLY options. You will not be allowed to board a plane to Canada without a valid PR Card (not photocopy) or the PR TRavel Doc. You'll need to cancel your flight to Toronto or re-route it to a US city since a few days is not enough time to get a PR TD.
