Lost passport

Hi guys I lost my passport when coming into Canada. I produced other documents from my country. My concern is I have been accepted as a conventional refugee and need to apply for pr. 1. Do I need to apply for a new passport from my home country for me to be able to apply for PR or can I just apply for PR with no passport. I don't have a lawyer to help. I'm from Angola.

When I applied for my brown paper and work permit I used copy my birth certificate and explained on that IRB has the original. So can I use the same thing my birth certificate and letter of acceptance to apply for PR
