Lost passport visa and confirmation of permanent residency

Good morning seeking for your help. I lost my passport visa and confirmation of permanent residency and won't able to retrieve it. Can I still get new one? What are the process I need to be made? It will expire on November this year thank you guys

You should probably tell us the complete story... Did your wife take or destroy them?

My wife took it and she is already in Canada together with my son. I want to follow them for my son but my wife took all the documents. My passport, visa, confirmation of permanent residency. My wife is the principal applicant. Is there a process on how can I request for new visa and confirmation of permanent residency.

CIC Will not issue another visa if one is lost .

You can apply for replacement documents but I'm unsure how you would define their "loss". You probably would need to declare them as "stolen" and formally report this to the police. The bigger problem may be if your wife has reported that you are undergoing a separation and/or divorce to CIC, thereby removing you as a dependent. Getting CIC to replace documents may prove to be more of a challenge if that's the case.

CIC personally and clearly informed me that once a visa is issued it will never be issued again , if for any reasons the PA did not use it t land a new application need to be submitted and start from scratch .

No, but they HAVE been stolen, regardless of it being the wife who "stole" them. They were not hers to take to Canada.

that's a police matter not an immigration matter , you mentioned lost in transit ??? is stolen also covered ?

hello zardoc. please i need your view on what to do.i lost my passport recently and i want to get another on with same passport umber .do i have to notify my visa office about lost? i also absentmindedly forget to include that i was once denied a US visa before in my application but my spouse said if i correct the form and inform, it may delay our process. what do you think i should do.

It is impossible (if you are talking about legitimate document).

Yes, you better inform CIC. Otherwise they will figure it out and it will be a problem.
