Hello Everyone,
We had a visitor visa application for my mother-in-law and brother-in-law approved a few days ago. They got a letter stating to submit their passport.
However the brother-in-law appears to have lost his passport.
What would we need to do in this situation?

Have your BIL apply for an urgent replacement passport.
Have your BIL apply for an urgent replacement passport.
Thank you for your response! We are going to try and do that if they don't find it within the next day.
If he's able to get a passport replacement within the indicated time frame (we got the passport request later on Jan 29, so February 28 would be 30 days)
The passport will not be the same as the one he had during the application (passport number, and potentially expiration date) would there be anything else we would need to?
